Mike Robinson, founder of the Global Cannabinoid Research Center in Santa Barbara, California, epitomizes resilience and innovation in cannabinoid medicine. 

As a survivor of multiple cancers, Robinson has extensively utilized cannabis oils and nanotechnology to manage severe epilepsy, chronic Lyme disease, PTSD, and pain for over a decade. His dedication to research and patient assistance has seen him share insights and analytics on cannabinoid medicine globally, offering guidance to patients and clinicians alike.

Formerly the Director of Consumer Affairs and Communications at The American Academy of Cannabinoid Medicine, Mike boasts an impressive track record in leading large-scale compassion programs. These programs have provided countless disadvantaged cannabis patients with alternative treatment protocols.

His expertise is grounded in practical application and academic rigor, as evidenced by his role as a published researcher, journalist, and internationally recognized cannabinoid research specialist.

Beyond cannabinoid medicine, Robinson is known for his civil rights advocacy. As a former registered Civil Rights lobbyist and non-attorney, he has represented numerous disabled children pro bono nationwide for over two decades. 

His commitment to social causes is further highlighted by his past involvement as a Big Brothers and Sisters board member and founding various nonprofits for disabled children. 

His compassionate nature is perhaps best illustrated by his adoption of Genevieve, a severely disabled child from the very compassionate program he led.
